Three weeks before Christmas the shopping and most of the wrapping was complete. Now that being said, I did have moments after that where I could not resist one more gift;) This pile of receipts had me in shock (3 days hard work..shopping). Give "Mom" a girls week away to shop and no worries...success in every way including the retailers. Can you tell I was able to make many stops at several locations?:0) Heaven..sick I know!

This is how the bathroom looks in less than 10 minutes with a house FULL of girls! It is mass chaos when getting ready for school. The circuit system is amply qualified. As soon as the whirlwind dies down it is hastily cleaned up for the next round. Wonder if I should just leave it that way?

It is always a treat to go with Dad/Hubby when he needs to travel for work. This particular time was up to Jackson Hole, WY. In the relatively small town there is this labyrinth. Everybody was running the course as Kelcie stood and watched. She came out very clear in this picture while the others are slightly blurred. What impresses me about this photo is it reminds me of my life. There are so many times when I feel life is running by me in a blur of fury. Sometimes I feel quite lost and alone, other times I just want to raise my arms and shout for joy at the utter speed and grace that surrounds me. School starts in a couple of weeks...Where has the summer gone? It may have flown by, but I take pleasure in remembering the sweet moments of the last few months. Now it's time for a new fury to begin...getting the girls up for school:)

Hart Reunion July 6th 2009

As I was contemplating the journal aspect of the Hart reunion, it occurred to me that I could not do only one post about this event. Because each day is one! There were over 200 pictures taken just from my camera alone on this day. We started by heading to a place to swim, Store Gulch. This happens to be my favorite place to bask, sunbathe, and swim/float ( I am my own personal buoy) and enjoy the sounds of happy children splashing about. The Illinois Valley river is full of places to indulge oneself in swimming. We look forward to doing this activity a few times while we are here every year. After taking in a full day of play, it continued. The ever so anticipated Bingo night. All the families bring their goodies for giveaways (especially Grandpa and Grandma Hart) and fill tables to overflowing. The kids, okay and even adults, take great measures to see what they maybe able to win. I was so excited to BINGO a pair of comfy pajamas:) This first picture summarizes a fun filled day, and just so happens to be my favorite picture of the whole reunion. What amazes me about the Hart reunion is how devoted we all are to making sure we can come. It is an anticipated every year event, of the kind to not be disappointed. What started out as mainly the siblings and a few spouses, with beginnings of children. Has evolved to grandchildren and great grandchildren. We even enjoy the "friends" and added family that come to enjoy in the festivities. With the Harts...the more the merrier!

At the Oregon coast you never know what weather may beseech you. Unfortunately we were heavy laden in clouds. The fine mist seemingly drenched us as though we were in a massive downpour. However, it could not bring the gathering down. We had such a good time there with family. Running through the waves, exploring hidden treasures embedded in rocks, finding a baby seal waiting for its "Mama," digging holes, sand in between our toes and other parts (how does that happen?), fireworks, a huge bonfire, awesome display of purchased fireworks, jumping for cover with an unexpected firework malfunction, giggles from the children, an abundance of never ending food, and just living in the moment of JOY!

So we began our reunion journey with a 15 hour drive that took 3 days. We first landed in Winnemucca, NV (Winneyucca we so lovingly call it, once you are there you will know why) at 11p.m. Looking for a place to stay was quite the adventure. It took an hour to find a non-smoking room available. We were pulling our trailer and there were places available for pulling in our trailer cheaper than a motel but the one we were able to find had a bathroom in the casino. The showers and bathrooms closed at 9p.m. Try telling my 6 year old to hold it till 9a.m. when it opened. K..the adventure stops there. We find a place with relatively clean rooms and pray no diseases are on the sheets. The next morning we go to the complimentary continental breakfast bar. I don't think the counters had been cleaned in months. There was a juice area with apple, orange and mango available. Curt and the girls just helped themselves while I was quite queasy with the whole breakfast look. Another patron came in and asked, after she poured herself a cup, "What one is the mango juice?" The hotel manager stated.."It's all the juices combined!" My husband wondered why it tasted so bad and why the girls were trying to find a place to spit it out. It was the color of muddy water. Again the adventure stopped there. Off we are to my parents. We arrived around 2p.m. Ah...being home is a good thing and we did not mind having adventures there. Warm bread, collecting farm fresh eggs, four wheeling, delicious food, small town shopping (mind you we did that in less than 1 day). During our visit the girls spotted a dying baby bird. Sigh...yes my sweet niece wanted to try to save it. The adventure began for that little thing. It was fed juice from the can of a wet cat food container and mushed up homemade wheat bread. With a great nights rest we were off for the coast. Arriving around 2p.m. Yeah! More of the adventure to come:0)

"Life...or a Reasonable Facsimile Thereof"

As I read the facsimile of his life...I find myself reading his words as if from a novel. I am captivated by his eternal devotion to his family. He intertwines his words and amazing pictures as though it were a melodic song. They seem to effortlessly find themselves from his thoughts to paper/postings. He is also inclined to lean towards the simple pleasures of his life. Many times there is humor in his musings, which brings quite the hearty chuckle from myself. Once you read just one post, you will be hooked. Linger for awhile, and you will find yourself just as mesmerized. Amen to eating outside, in the dirt, without shoes, in a life jacket to small, hair uncombed, without utensils, and by a LaKE!

Last Saturday was the first time taking the boat out for a day of total bliss. The large thunderheads stayed their coarse for 4 hours, while we enjoyed the warmth of the sun. Hearing the shrills of excitement permeate our ears as children are being tossed back and forth, skipping across the water, in the tube that is our constant companion in joy, brings the thrill of summer to a wonderful beginning. Pineview reservoir...anticipated all winter and enjoyed all summer!

First Triathlon...Kelcie:)

Saturday was quite a day for Kelcie. She competed in her first "Novice" Triathlon, while Curt participated in the "Sprint." There were 25 or so competing in the novice bracket. She place 11th in that category overall. She even made a friend along the way who helped jog her into the finish. When all was said and done, she said "WOW, I want to do that again!" Yeah for the success she felt and her desire to do another one. Thought, maybe I can try next time with her. Fortunately it was just a thought:) Not only was she competing against others, but especially herself. You go my Kelcie Roo!

This Beautiful lady is far from "In the Gutter" when it comes to her insightful and down right delightful writing. I have not had the pleasure of meeting this lady in person (living in another continent makes it slightly difficult). We do however share many passions together. Our Religion, Family, Shopping, Twilight and above all a good Coke! She is surrounded by 5 beautiful children and an Air Force Traffic Controller (whom is out on tour). She was one of my first followers. From that came about a sweet friendship, that I hope, if the internet collapses (gasp), we will be great pen pals, well maybe the phone is better (those who know me...I do NOT write letters).

We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars-Oscar Wilde (well stated off the title of her blog site). Mrs. J the Grockle (hmmm what does that mean? go to her site and find out), you are one of My STARS....:0)

We had a thunder storm roll on through last Sunday afternoon. Hearing the rumble of the thunder brought us out to witness the strength of Mother Nature. One minute it was pouring buckets. The next, a rainbow colored our view. During this myriad of wind, rain, lightening, thunder, rainbow and sun...Brynn could not resist the opportunity to dance in the rain. Unabashed joy. Tuesday's Tribute and Wordful Wednesday...

So, I decided to combine these 2 "tag-alongs," since I've been missing out on Wednesdays lately and they are both from the same fun, sassy and ever so enjoyable site/lady. My tribute may get wordful because it is my sister, Cheryl (and a devoted follower, no bribing necessary). I will try to summarize the best way I know how....Here goes...

We had such a bonding relationship as children, never fighting, or being cruel...cough, cough. Fortunately we survived being sisters early on, with minor bodily damage (think I still have that bald spot and she can still see from her left eye)giggle... Our relationship took on a whole new level after we left the comforts of home (getting married and college) and hit adulthood with children. We moved to Utah, living with her and family for 3 weeks. My Kelcie and her Bridger became the best of friends during that time as well as the friendship that started with us and continues to this day. Catch that? Trying to keep it short...

She moved away (can't believe she would be so selfish to do that to me...because as always this tribute has to do with me). With baptisms, blessings, vacations, work, computer and the phone, I have been blessed to stay in touch with her. She is a seminary teacher, public relations specialist for the church in her area, daughter, wife, and above all a spectacular mother. In between those important roles in her life she keeps up with her blogging, facebooking, and other relationships in her life.

I have weathered many storms with her right by my side encouraging and loving me all the way through them (I know she secretly did when we were younger to, the horns came out more, where now it's just a halo:0). I know a phone call away with her has greater impact for a better day than a coke (ok, that's pushing it..tehe). I am truly blessed to have you Cheryl...I love you... During spring break, we headed to St. George (ah, warmth). While there the weather was not as cooperative as we'd have liked. However, even with the wind and clouds (okay, and rain), the temperature was a warm 75. We were still able to enjoy the festivities downtown at the art festival (picture was taken there) and do a little hiking. We love St. George, especially in the winter. This picture wraps up the feelings we all had...pure joy!

So, this week I would like to tribute another follower/friend whom I know personally. However not like my sister Cheryl, knows her. They are BFs..almost sisters themselves. I met her a few years ago and thoroughly enjoyed her contagious laughter. I remember going to meet her for the first time, feeling slightly nervous. The minute she opened the door, that totally dispelled. With Kiera (yay...a name)...you are family. I can see why my sister loves her. When my sister moved away from me, I was so sad (because this is about me). Not long after my sisters arrival to their new home, Kiera entered her life...and their story/friendship continues after almost 10 years.

She is a mother of 4 beautiful children. One of whom was added to their home just over a year ago, via adoption. Now they are excited to add another sweetie to the family the same way. Well, this tribute comes easy in a BF kind of way. The hard part is putting into words the admiration I have for this beautiful woman. I met her at a "play date" at the park 4 years ago. I instantly knew it was going to be "kindred" relationship. K-have not had my nightly dose of NyQuil (been sick for 2 weeks...think I need the harder stuff, maybe even a doctor), so this is not drug induced....giggle. I digress (common/random, she totally gets that :)

If I pick up the phone to talk to her for "just 5 minutes," it turns into 2 hours..WTH..everyday (we have much to say...really)! There are many words to describe this incredible lady.... Funny, Codes, car washes, brakes, Coke, Lagoon, Quilted Bear, TWILIGHT, birthdays, children, Magical cupcakes, MUCH laughter, being myself, confidant, support, listener, singer (love the ones on the answering machine), friend, Auntie, Mom, daughter, and so much like a sister. I am so blessed to have her...I love you Karolynn

So, I wanted to do a shout out, if you will, to those who diligently follow me. I will begin with the first person on my list...Cecily. Isn't she a doll! I was able to have a brief encounter with this great lady at a MIF luncheon a few weeks ago. She is just as beautiful in person. Now, I did not have the opportunity to talk with her while there. However, after the fact via computer, did we even realize we were at the same function! What a beautiful day to fly a kite!! Last Saturday, we met up with family at Antelope Island. It was a balmy 50, slight breeze, fire for roasting, plenty to eat, and new friends to meet. Sara enjoyed seeing how high she could get this kite to go. I'm surprised she didn't fly away with it. Truly a wonderful way to play!

April 2007, we had the opportunity to spend 3 weeks in Australia. Hubby's parents were serving an 18 month LDS mission in Dundas, just outside of Sydney. We decided to take what money we had saved and splurge on a trip of a lifetime. What a leap it was! This picture was taken at Whitehaven Beach, part of the Whitsunday Islands. It is considered 1 of the top 10 beaches in the world (the sand is pure white, and baby powder fine). I have many pictures of this day...however they are on my other (broken) computer. Fortunately I have this sweet little one of Sara, in her yellow jumpsuit (we arrived at the end of jelly fish season and they wanted to make sure she would not be stung). They lovingly named her the "Yellow Teletuby."

I am so excited!!! I am a featured craft vendor at a local shop here in Centerville! I do many different items, (with this explosion shabby box pictured, as just one of the handful of others). I have loved shopping here for years and am just so delighted to be accepted and spotlighted.

Kelcie is so proud of herself, and so are we. This semester of Jr. High, she is in a "Career Tech" (used to be home ec) class. Sewing is right up her alley...as well as all the cooking-eating she is participating in. She has made hot pads and other small items. This little apron is her work. She is taking great pride in seeing the work of her hands. That truly is the best feeling!

Tuesday's Tribute....Imagine "Alexis" a Missionary!

Last Wednesday, my sister entered The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, MTC (Missionary Training Center). She will be there for 3 weeks before going to her area, which is Salt Lake City, Temple Square.

I still can't believe my "baby" sister is on a mission. Where has the time gone? She was just 5...and now..21?! It was such a sweet experience to see her so happy to be starting a 18 month dream/goal she had. The twinkle in her eye and the grin on her face continued until we said goodbye (it was described as a "band aid" effect...ouch it was)! Being with my family did help with the sting (and maybe going to Brick Oven Pizza..hehe).

Her work began quickly and with no time to spare.

Training for 3 weeks and then off to share,

for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints,

a message for all to hear.

Now she is "Green," a newbie, as they say,

Full of love for the gospel...to be talked about everyday.

Her desire, motivation, and love for the Lord,

Inspired her in every way!

My tribute to a beautiful, and sweet sister. How proud and grateful I am to have her example in my life. I Love you Alexis.

This Tuesday I wanted to bring attention to my sweet friend and her beautiful family. They have been blessed with 3 darling boys. Due to medical reasons, she was unable to continue in bearing children. The desire to have a "mini" Tricia has had them seeking diligently for adopting a baby girl.

I hope they will be given the opportunity. Here is their website... Spencer and Tricia. She is the best hair stylist, friend, wife, and Mother. I am not biased...okay maybe a little...but I can be! I am so grateful to know her and her cute family (those boys are soooo gooshable).

My Grandfather died a little over a month ago. The family viewing took place the evening before the funeral. As all the family was quietly talking, my Mom (on the left) and my Aunt Diane (right, DeeDee-DooDoo...Love you) were engaged in a sweet conversation.

I had not seen my Aunt in over 10 years! She is still just as beautiful as I remember. Painting my nails, doing my hair, telling scary stories, sleep overs, playing and doing all things "girlie" style are some of my favorite memories of childhood, with her. How grateful I am for the events that took place those couple of months. Not because of what we lost...but gained. To see my family who I adore so much come together in celebration of life, sorrow, joy and love, was so sweet for me.

You will note, they are high capacity loaders so if you decide to place 2 children (from 5-8 years old) in together, they fit perfectly! However for the sake of them wanting to be in by themselves, and a fight ensuing, Brynn chose the dryer, Sara the washer. No children were harmed (well maybe the spin cycle...JK) in the photo taking of these machines.

Who doesn't LOVE a good powdered donut?!

1. When all else fails...open up a box of hostess donut holes and see the tears vanish!

2. Do not try to inhale while eating one of these tasty treats.

3. Put the whole donut hole in your mouth.

4. Do not talk while chewing...powder goes everywhere.

5. Try as you might to conceal the evidence of eating the donut...the ring around your mouth is a dead giveaway!

6. Eat them OUTSIDE of the vehicle/house.

7. Try not to eat the whole box in one sitting.

8. Yes, donut holes are smaller. That means I can eat half the box myself right??!

9. Make sure to distribute evenly, because the cat claws come out..Meow!

Just a small preface....Last week on a quiet Tuesday evening, while chatting on twitter, I was surprised at a post left on a blog. Now mind you (since this is about me), I have a very tender and sweet disposition in all things...wink...anyways.

In this post was a video of a rather unusual kind. A "stalker" had FOUND and LEFT a message on the blogger's phone! He decided to post and video the message. It was quite cryptic in nature and disturbed me greatly to say the least. So I proceeded to give encouragement and support to this Blogging individual/friend/Jay... by GENTLY letting him know I had his families back, cough, cough!!

Well, I had no idea this gentleman did voice impersonations, nor had I heard his voice before....

So, we all know where this is going, so no fan fare...It had been himself recording the phone message!! Ha, Ha...

I tell you this story because first the picture represents what I was going to do to the stalker...and second, I would like to Tribute the individuals who have started this wonderful idea...to give back to what we feel passionate about. Through Twitter/#GNO (please sign up and join in), Facebook and blogging, I have met some very FUN and SWEET individuals who uplift me each week. This could have only happened thanks to the Internet.
So to Jay...
On twitter #GNO... I laugh so hard I can't breathe, not even a tehe, giggle...maybe with a toot though..hmmm? You engage my humor and intellect (somewhere up there) and keep it going through posts/twitter and facebook. Beside every good man...is a good woman, and I am so grateful for her!!
Deb...
Marry me? JK.... You say the sweetest things to me. I may look like I got hit by a ton of bricks...but you let me know of my beauty through your eyes...truly a gorgeous woman inside and out You are! Now as far as her posts...here, and here oh and here. There are so many I love to read them all. You make me laugh, cry, shout for joy and feel like I am normal!

So this Tuesday I wanted to give back to the 2 people who gave me and others this chance to think about someone/thing other than ourselves (myself). Thank YOU!!

From this....Bright blue, 65 degrees, panoramic views, red rock, natures stairs to the top, calm breeze, and a vast playing field!

To this...a vast vortex of brown, gray, stifling, suffocating, nothing muck!!

Our children had a 4 day weekend (didn't they just have a holiday break, anyhow I digress). So, we decided to head south to St. George. It was truly beautiful. Getting out of the ever so pleasant inversion was not missed. Breathing fresh air for several days...simply cleansing!!

Dear DW;

You give so much and in return, just a little jet dry is all you ask for. The many hand prints that cover your stainless steel face, and not one complaint. Even when you don't want to do the work, you wash through your moodiness. Oh, how you have made my life a bit easier. I cram more than what I should and you still forge through the grub. We use our feet to close you, your door to mix on (a great way for children wanting to help "stir" for any meal, when you don't want a huge mess, shut the door and the dishwasher will take care of the mess), and you even don't mind Kirkland brand. So thank you for making my life easier!

See the glow around the mug? K-sad, I know, but it sure looks like it was heaven sent!!

This week has proven itself difficult. So the other day while quickly running out the door...there was a pleasant surprise. A fountain Coke (fuzzy, a family word because it tickles your nose...ah, sweet), and a huge hug and smile from a beautiful friend. I must say that had to be the best coke. I slurped on that thing all day! The simple gestures and happenings this week and in my life daily, truly bring some of the greatest joy. My "Love Bucket" overflowed with tender, comforting words and actions from "earth angels" these past few days. I Love You and Thank You...

I never thought I'd have a teenager so soon. You, my sweet Kelcie, came into our lives at just the perfect time. We thought you'd be early (before Christmas), but you decided to hang out until the new year. Since then, I have been mesmerized by your ability to be patient, thoughtful, and tender. I am so grateful you are the example for your little sisters. You have set the bar high (sorry, paving the path first is not always easy, especially with parents still learning the ropes).

Spending your birthday at Solitude was beautiful.

The bright blue skies, crisp frosty air, snow crunching under our feet, a warm condo, delicious meals (cough..cough), skiing, birthday surprises, Uncle Bill, and just being together as a family. So many memories in just a couple of days.

I love to hear you sing, especially when cleaning or playing with your sisters, your innocence, the deep devotion to your family, never saying goodbye without a "I Love You," and your sweet presence with all you do. Happy Birthday my Kelcie "Roo." I Love You!

This picture was taken in a restroom at a church building. Now before you say EEWww, I had a very good reason to be in there. It was my Grandfathers funeral and I was feeling a little under the weather. See, I have IBS (for those of you who know it sucks, and those who don't, I would not wish it on my enemies) and when it decides to rear its ugly head, I join the porcelain goddess for awhile. We had a soft water unit installed in our home a few weeks ago. One small problem...floating cardboard pieces in the tank. All of us were slightly large to fit into the unit to pull out the chunks. So to the rescue....SARA! At first the idea freaked her out (would me as well). But, after a few tries, and her "Uncle Bill" holding her, up came the pieces. PHEW.

"Innocence"

The Savior tells us we need to become as little children to inherit the kingdom of God. I've often wondered what it is about little children Jesus loves most, and I think its their innocence. They are clean slates, seeing the world and others through untarnished eyes. Their hearts are pure, without the baggage of cynicism and self-doubt. In this piece, I've tried to imagine how a child would act upon meeting the Master for the first time. Without reservation or inhibition, I think he would simply want to play with Him. He would be at complete ease, allowing his pure little heart to soak in the love and laughter of His pure, infinite heart. Its no wonder Christ delights in these little ones and sets them up to be our examples.

"Security"

One of the greatest human needs is a sense of security. In all aspects of life, we naturally gravitate towards anything that makes us feel safe. In this piece, I wanted to convey a sense of complete peace and calm like only the Savior can provide. It's a security that allows us to rest assured, without fear or worry, when we put ourselves trustingly in His arms. Little children have that inherent kind of trust in their parents, so it's fitting that the man and girl who modeled for "Security" are actually father and daughter. They generated the exact feel I was looking for.

"My Child"

This piece conveys an intimate, up-close-and-personal feeling of the Savior's love. Notice how all the lines draw your attention and point towards Jesus' face in the center. I chose the name "My Child" because the only thing that could compare (even remotely) to Christ's compassion for us is the love of a parent for his/her child. This image is also intended to put things in perspective. Above all, we are God's children first. He allows us the privelege of experiencing parenthood for ourselves and we are entrusted to be the mothers and fathers of His children here on earth.

Brynn FINALLY got her wish, of almost a year of begging. Her long curly locks are being donated to Locks of Love. She was pampered enough to know why "Mommy loves to have her hair done." I loved seeing her bright eyes light up and the pure joy she radiated.

Sara wanted to play with the camera during Christmas. Well, why not?! She wanted to show me she could take a picture of herself like "Mommy" does. Here are the results... By the end and changing twice (pj's, it's vacation time), she had figured it out. She may just go blind at some point in her life. But she now knows to keep her arms stretched as far out as they can go!

This Kindergarten program, for Grandparents, came at the best time. It's been a rough few weeks and the thought of celebrating, is the last thing on our minds. I was just going to stay home and get the house ready for the extra guests. My Mother wanted me to join her..and I am so glad I did. The children had memorized over a dozen songs (pictures did not turn out so well of the performance, sad). The spirit of Christmas filled that small cafeteria. It was the best way to bring sweetness to the season. I am so grateful for Sara's teacher, who also happens to be my neighbor and friend. Getting all those little 5 year olds to sit still and all participate was amazing. A wonderfully entertaining, sweet and fun Christmas presentation.

These last few weeks have been filled with much sorrow and joy. My grandfather was laid to rest this morning in the midst of a snow storm. At least the wind wasn't blowing at the time of the services. The hearst could not make it up the hill to the burial site. So they decided to park down at the bottom of the hill and have the pall bearers carry him up. Fortunately, the men doing the carrying were strong, because there were not enough of them. My Dad kept saying..."Keep going...Keep going." He feared dropping the coffin. Afterwards a yummy luncheon was served and we were able to warm up and let the stress role off a little. Curtis utilized this time to really relax...hmmm...we all got quite the giggle!

Grandpa....I Love you...

For the Love of Grandpa Budd C. Argyle...

I am so grateful my children had the opportunity to know their Great~Grandpa. They love him so.

My feelings are very raw, and overwhelming. I lost a wonderful Grandfather, but most importantly, my Mother lost her Father. She was by his side as he passed this evening. My prayer is for her and her siblings as they go through the process of grief. I am so blessed to have an understanding that this life is but a moment. For we have eternity. It does not take the sting away, just a comforting blanket. One I need and want wrapped around me right now.

Brynn was Baptized on Saturday. She was surrounded by family and friends who were so excited to see her take this big step in her life.

Before the baptism...she loved having her pictures taken. Oh, that long beautiful hair (will be donating it soon)!

She was thrilled to get ready and when I looked up...her jumpsuit was on backwards...giggle!

"Mom, that was so cool, I feel so warm inside!"

It's Great to be 8! From beginning to end, this day was Full of Joy! She is an angel who blesses my life in every way. How grateful I am to have a piece of heaven dance, sing, giggle, cry, snuggle, play, and love with everyday...Our Brynn Bear!

My sister Lexi (Alexis) got her Mission Call to....drum roll....Salt Lake City Temple Square, Utah!! She is currently up in Idaho and will leave for the MTC in February. Her enthusiasm to go just radiates all around her. She will serve the Lord well!

The tender moments of my Grandmother's funeral where candidly caught. From a child smelling a flower, Grandpa walking hand in hand with the girls, the hugs, the support from friends, to the unity of Brother and Sisters. The Lord and His Tender Mercies encircled us that day. I enjoyed every aspect of the services. Humor, sweetness, reflection and abundant love!

Before the viewing started, I had the opportunity to set the pictures up in the entryway and see Grandma before all came. She looked so beautiful all in white and every dainty detail highlighted. How grateful I was at that time for the Atonement. For in that moment I felt nothing but compassion, humility, forgiveness, and hope. All of which happened that day.

7. Has #1 blogged something that inspired you? Holly?? JK...every time I see her (K-I know not fair in the blogging world) she looks beautiful. Again I am not trying to kiss a@#, that would be gross. I believe that is so important to feeling good everyday. Get up and put "your boots on," or get ready for the day just gives you a pick me up. We all like to feel beautiful and Holly does that well!

8. How often do you comment on #4's blog? I STALK the woman!! Cheryl is my sister. She is very talented and right now is serving a stalking mission for the LDS church. It may not be official but she is hot on the trail to give us the important information to the development of the new Kansas City Temple. I call her the stalker in a loving, sister kinda way. She is my best friend (let's hear the aahh)..I'll stop the gooshie.

9. Do you wait excitedly for #8 to post? Now that sounds kinda OCD stalkerish!! I won't call it waiting per say...Christmas may come quicker tehe (I do little giggles alot). Natalie is a beautiful mother of 4 beautiful (it's in the genes I tell ya) children. She had a little girl just a few weeks ago and looks stunning (number 4..what??). I had number 3 years ago and look 4 months along WTF?? This is about her, so she too is a friend I know outside of the blogging community. I am very lucky to know Natalie .

10. How did #5's blog change your life? Oh my this will take so much time. Karolynn is my sista from anotha mista, best friend, Lover (in a NGW), auntie, and example for me!! She is also a friend whom I know, talk to daily, CJs weekly, stalk with, play with, shop with (not enough), have a coke with, GNO with, LAUGH with, and LOVE. We are sisters in every way. Change my life for the better does not even touch the sweet feelings I have for her!!

11. Do you know any of your 10 bloggers in person? Yes I DO. Sharon, Cheryl, Karolynn, Holly, Natalie, and Megan. I would LOVE to know the other friends in person and maybe someday I will have the opportunity...date anybody??

There is Humor...to the Sweetness of my Grandmothers funeral. That may sound a little strange, but I know she was enjoying the events that took place.

1. The wind seemed to only be blowing at the cemetery. It about knocked you over. At the church...hardly a breeze. Seriously??
2. The door to the hearse got stuck. Would not open. Kidding me?? We ended up going back to the church to eat a delicious meal while they called a locksmith to come help. Within just a few moments of us leaving they were able to get it open (without the locksmith). Funny part...they still had to pay for the locksmith (how many times do I need to say that in a sentence) to come out and tell them nothing was wrong??!!
3. The third picture with the Mother on the ribbon...That was taken while I was holding the casket from sliding off!! Holy BLEEP??!! Why take a picture you ask? I had barely touched the ribbon as the casket started to slide, my finger hit the camera button, as I grabbed the side rail to hold on. Help came quickly with my yelp...phew!!A total Chevy Chase movie chain of events....

In the end...the beauty of this shot captivates how it all turned out. Walking away, the sun broke through the clouds, the wind stopped howling and our bodies and minds were touched by the warmth of the moment. Thank you Grandma. I Love you.

This BeauTiFul Necklace. It is made with organza ribbon only. It is very hard to describe how it is done, but I learned the technique at CHA (Craft and Hobby Association) in Chicago a few years ago. The piece made then has gone through 3 girls (ages 5-12) at school, church and extra curricular activities. Still in perfect shape.

Products Used

It is made with beads ranging from Plastic, Porcelin, Metal (including toggle), and Shell (pendant). The winner of this auction will also be rewarded with a SURPRISE.

It's a HaLLowEEn PaRaDe!! Complete with ScaRy music and Charlie Brown MoVie..BB (Brynn Bear) wanted to be a CheeRleaDer (left her pom-poms at desk). SB (Sarie Beary) wanted to be an InDiAn. Since SB is in afternoon Kindergarten the teacher said it would be okay for her to come join the BiG morning parade. She LoVED it.. BB had her picture taken with her SwEET teacher (she just adores her)... I can't believe how QuiCkly they grow up!!

CamEra was being very GitchY which made me very WiTchY!! CuTe to WaTCh though.

Today I met up with my FriEnd - Karolynn and kids for BreaKfast at IHOP...While waiting to pay for our food...2 CouPles CommENTed on how our children were so well behaved in the restaurant. One of the CuTe ladies went out into the overflow area where our kids were playing so QUiEtly..cough, cough...to talk to the kids. As soon as I paid I went out to see what was going on....Oh, my GraVy...she was SiNging "I am a Child of God" with the kids!! It was such a TenDer moment that I HAD to take a picture (or 2)...and yes my camera was with me..you never know!

Afterwards we asked her name...Sis. Edwards was her reply. Little did I know that I would StaY around and TalK with them for an HouR longer. Thanks to Karolynn for taking LiTTle S home with her...I had a SwEEt and MakE my WeeK conversation with them.
It's so WonDerfuL to have MeaniNgful conversations with those who are WiSe WELL beyond my years!! I ChERish the words which were spoken about their lives. In the ShoRt time we were able to connect as though we were FamiLy...They said they would call the next time they met...which is every month or so...I sure HopE they do!!!

LoCKs of LoVE...

When I came home earlier this year with a ToTaLLy different HaiR style, my LiTTLe S was so ExcitED to see a new me. She WaNted to LOOK the same as me...aaawww (sweet GoOshie moment). She asked what happened to my old hair...it went to "LoCks of Love." What's that? So I told her about it and she PromPtLY said..."THat's what I WANT to do MaMMa." I did not ask or suggest that she do that...really. This little 5 YR old is full of SurPRiseS and SoMe are beyond her small years. After MaNY months...TA-DA...done!! She was so InCREdiblY HaPPy the whole time and so was I. I am VeRy ProUD of a BIG decision from a LITTLE S! I LoVe you my BeRRie!!!

SaRa says..."She is the GooDesT GrandMa...I Love You!"

BryNN says... "She is so NiCe and the BeSt...I Love You!"

SaRa says... "She gives us a lot of FoOd and CanDy and WATer baLLoons...and she is the BeSt GranDma in the WHoLe wide WoRld!"

BryNN says... "She is a SuPer fun GranDma!"

SaRa says... "We want to her to have a PiNk cake with BluE dots and PreSent with a HoRsey stable and want her to have ReD candles on the cake too!"

SaRa says... " I want Jesus to LoVe her in the whole wide world!"

BryNN says... "She's fun to LauGh with!"

Okay, here are 7 facts about myself:

1. I LoVe a good CoKe FUzzY (FounTain SoDa) especially from DQ (they have the best ice, small little round balls). Now the twisted part is I only really LoVE the 1st 3 sips...that's when it seems the MoST carbonated/strongest...SiCk I know!

2. I have a size 6 LeFt foot and a size 3 (child) or 5 (woman) on my RiGHt...

3. Have you ever seen an ALL PiNk jail ??

4. I was HiT on the HeAd with a discus while running/training for a track meet in 10th grade....OuCh..and no comments from those who know me..wink, wink!

5. I was born with OnlY 1 kidney, No right hip socket, a BaLL of spine on my back and one more other abnormality (not my brain, but a little more private).

6. With those congenital defects I was in a HiP brace for almost a year as a baby/toddler. I was the 1st infant spine fusion on the West Coast...and to this day it works WoNderFuL!!

7. I LiKE the smell of TuCKS..explain..when I had my first child I tore all the way...eeww..and they had me use these to help in the HeAling of it. So every time I open them up..(now it's for not such a good thing as having my kids), I go back to a time when my LiTTLe Roo was born and remember what a BleSS-ed day that was, for she was my 1st MiRaCLe in a hard trial of pregnancies!

I couldn't help but CaPtuRe the BeaUty of our FaLL this year...YeS there are ViVid yellows, reds and oranges...BuT, there are also BloSSoms only seen in the SpRiNG!! I LOVE fall. It is my FaVoRite time of the year...however the only FAll by my house are the decorations ADorNing the doors and lawns of all around me. Temperatures are hoving in the mid to upper 80s. HoWEver I understand that will be changing soon...Go up into our MaGnifiCent mountains and the colors are ViBraNt and BeaUtifuL!!
